This Privacy Policy describes how a merchant's personal information is collected, used, and shared when a Shopify merchant installs the Riaxe Product Options app.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When Riaxe Product Options is installed on an eCommerce website, we automatically collect certain information about a merchant's store through eCommerce store API, including information about a merchant's website, and eCommerce stores assets like products, orders, and merchant's contact information. The information related to products, orders, and customers' carts can be read or changed by the Riaxe Product Options based on merchant or customer input. Additionally, as the end user's of the merchant's website browse the designer studio from the storefront, we collect information about the customer’s identification stored in the respective eCommerce store platform. We refer to this customer information as the customer identification number and we do not store any personal information of the merchant's customers in our database this information is pulled from the eCommerce store as and when needed. Riaxe Product Options also does not store any payment information of the orders placed by the customers of the merchant's website.

Apart from the above-mentioned important store information we also access and/or change application-specific eCommerce store resources such as theme files, webhooks, inventory, translations, etc. During the installation of the app Riaxe also requests to read some store information like GDPR data reads shop locations.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • "Log files" track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including a merchant's IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
  • "Web beacons," "tags," and "pixels" are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about the contact and eCommerce store information of the merchant who uses the Riaxe Product Options.

HOW DO WE USE a merchant's STORE DATA AND PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use merchants' product listing and product information to set up and store product print area and print method settings. We do not store any product information on our server as we require the data read and written at the eCommerce store as and when required through secured API calls. Riaxe Product Options only stores the mapping of the products and settings in our system. Please note, that Riaxe may save product information as server cache files to overcome Shopify API call limits. This information is destroyed while the merchant uninstalls the app in the system.

We use the order information to prepare artwork print files and manage details set by merchant's customers using the Riaxe Product Options application in the storefront.

Riaxe does not store any order information in the system and it fetches information from the respective eCommerce stores as and when necessary. Riaxe only stores the mappings of the order identification in the system which are related to the product customization in customer orders. We do not store customer-specific data such as payment card information, shipping or billing addresses, contact, or company information in the system. Riaxe only stores user-uploaded images and artworks to the Riaxe Product Options in a secured and dedicated location for the merchant. The same information is wiped out when merchants stop using the application in their eCommerce platform.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, a merchant's IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We use the merchant's theme, translation, location, inventory, and webhooks to operate store-specific functionalities associated with the product customizer.

SHARING a merchant's PERSONAL INFORMATION

We share a merchant's Personal Information with third parties to help us use a merchant's store data, as described above. For example, we use Shopify to power our online store--you can read more about how Shopify uses a merchant's Personal Information here:

Finally, we may also share a merchant's Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful requests for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

We share a merchant's recurring payment information with Shopify billing to add the charge (if and as) applicable to the plan you pursue as per the feature needs of Riaxe Product Options.

DO NOT TRACK

Please note that we do not alter our Site's data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from a merchant's browser.

A MERCHANT'S RIGHTS

For any help or bug report, you can access our support team from the merchant application of the Riaxe Product Options. You can ask to remove a merchant's store-specific information or files from Riaxe any time when you decide to opt-out of the system. During uninstalling the application some code related to the Riaxe Product Options may remain in a merchant's theme due to Shopify theme type and versions. Though there are very less chances of these remaining codes causing any problems in a merchant's eCommerce store, the Riaxe support team will also help you out during offboarding from the application as well.

DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain a merchant's Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. Riaxe auto removes the store-specific files and data storage within 48 hours of the app uninstallation.

CHANGES

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
